T’ai Chi is a wonderful exercise that will benefit anyone with the desire to learn, including pregnant women and senior citizens. You may have seen people doing T’ai Chi in a public park before – it is a Chinese art of exercise that was developed centuries ago, characterized by its slow, continuous, soft, circular, rhythmic, and well-balanced movement.
T’ai Chi, a proven method of stress reduction, is non-strenuous and easy to learn; no special equipment is required. Just wear loose fitting clothing and flat shoes (no heels). Come and join us to have fun while you get healthy! Before you know it you will be learning Push Hands – the application of T’ai Chi Ch’uan for self defense. Classes are on going and open-ended, so new students can start at any time and learn at their own pace. Ron San Miguel has been practicing T’ai Chi Ch’uan for thirty years. He has taught in México, California, and in the Philadelphia area.
